The GVR Food Pantry supplies food, hygiene and household items to individuals and families in need.
Drive-thru and walk-up food distribution is on Thursdays and Saturdays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Registration starts at 3 pm.
A special outreach to those experiencing homeless is held on Tuesdays from 10 am to
1 pm for showers, and 3 pm to 5 pm.
GVR Connect
Gather with others who wish to know more about the Bible on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:15 pm. Study, pray, and share life with others who are loving, kind, and accepting.
Casual - come as you are!
The GVR Clothing Closet is open to distribute clothing on Thursdays and Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Clients may shop once every 2 months.
Tuesdays special outreach operates in conjunction with the food distribution, and clients may shop each month.
Spiritual & Health Resources
A team of dedicated volunteers, including Registered Nurses, meet with GVR's clients to pray, provide basic wound care, and connect them with other community resources.
The Mobile Clothing Closet most often partners with schools to provide clothing to students and their families, and makes a surprise visit to food distribution on occasion.
After supplying the food pantry with fresh produce, boxes are distributed to the community for a $10 donation every Saturday from 8 am to 11 am at the GVR location, 6161 E 22nd Street (north of 22nd and west of Wilmot). Drive-thru service.
