Statement of Faith

GOD There is one God, all powerful, all knowing and ever present, perfect, and exists eternally in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST is fully God and man. In time was born of a virgin, died upon a cross to pay for mankind's sin, rose from death, and is coming back as King.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is a divine member of the Triune God.  He indwells, guides, teaches, sanctifies and empowers believers.  He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.  He gives gifts to each believer for service.

THE BIBLE is the inspired Word of God (the very words and all of them), inerrant, the complete revelation of God's will to mankind.  The Bible is where mankind finds truth.

MANKIND is created in the image of God.  Mankind is fallen in sin and cannot reconcile himself to God.  Mankind is born into physical and spiritual death, and unable to pay the debt of sin.  By God's mercy and grace, mankind can be restored to a relationship with God through faith in Christ Jesus.

SALVATION God has provided salvation through the sacrifice of His son Jesus.  We receive salvation through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  God declares us righteous through faith.  We receive the Holy Spirit as a promise of our salvation.  Those who reject Him will be eternally separated from God.

THE CHURCH consists of those who have put their faith in Jesus.  The church is the body of Christ, of which Christ is the head.  The purpose of the local church is to glorify God by meeting together for worship, prayer, teaching God's word, fellowship, evangelism, and serving one another.
